What is the Jordanian-American Tolerance Project?
The Jordanian- American Project is a collaboration that began with an American teacher, Tina Spurlock and an American teacher (who is teaching in Jordan), Rebecca Weston. Created in 2016, the project is designed to create a global classroom. Students from West Amman, Jordan and students from El Capitan High School in Merced, California, USA work together via the internet to learn about each other, gain cultural tolerance, and discuss global issues. Student participants are American Advanced Placement students and Jordanian International Baccalaureate students.
